Suanne Ritchey, Executive Director
Suanne recently joined the staff at Temple Beth El. She comes to us with many years of office experience. She has worked in a police department, for a computer programmer, owned her own business and, most recently, worked in a physical therapy office in Brewster. Suanne is an avid football fan and is very loyal to the Dallas Cowboys, although she is a lifelong New Yorker. With a family of New York Giants fans, football season is very exciting in her house. Suanne is appreciative of the opportunity to work at Temple Beth El and is excited at the prospect of learning new things.
Joseph Greenfield, Dean, Judaic Studies
Joe and his family have been members of Temple Beth El for over 25 years. He has enjoyed teaching the Confirmation Classes (8th and 9th grades). He supervises the Judaic Studies classes and faculty.
Joe is a New York State licensed teacher and has earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction. He also earned a New York State School District Superintendent’s license. He has studied Jewish history and Bible study with Rabbi Acrish, and completed the Hadrachah training program given by the Union for Reform Judaism and taught by learned Rabbis and Cantors.
Judy Coco, Dean, Hebrew and Music
Judy and her family joined Temple Beth Elohim in August 2004 and immediately became engaged and active members. Besides playing mah jong, Judy started teaching 5th grade Religious School. That first year, the class led the Shabbat Service, and a trend was started. Five years later Judy Chaired the Board of Education and continued to work with the Rabbi and our Deans to make change. Today, Judy is continuing to upgrade the skills of our children as the Dean of Hebrew Studies and Music.
