Our TBE Men's Club will have our first meeting of the year on Sunday September 12th, beginning at 9AM. Drop of your student (if you have one), and join us in the Social Hall for a nice bagel & lox nosh, some conversation, some jokes, and some planning for the upcoming Temple year. We are a very informal group of men, connected by our Temple family. Come meet the group. First Sunday morning each month, depending on school schedule and weather.
Among our highlights of the year is our Annual Comedy Night at Temple. Saturday, November 13th will feature two professional comedians along with some spectacular food prepared by our own TBE chefs. Of course, we can't forget our annual Joke-Off, where some of our audience tries to get a laugh on our stage. Our comedians this year are Michele Balan and Moody McCarthy. Both seasoned professionals with impressive resumes. This is a great night out for the adults, and a fun way to spend the evening with your friends. Save the date with your friends now. We can arrange for table groupings. Look for a mailing soon. One of the best values for your entertainment dollars.

Michele Balan is a brash, New York Stand-up comedian and was one of the four finalists on NBC's 2006 "Last Comic Standing," and she is "The Last Woman Comic..." She has recently appeared on Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, and the OUT-laugh festival on MTVs LOGO. She recently opened for the Smothers Brothers and is headlining all over the country in comedy clubs, cruises, corporate events, JCC's country clubs and more! She is appropriate for all audiences...well, maybe not children's parties! Voted one of the "Top 10 Comics" by Backstage Magazine in 2004. |
